DESCRIPTION:I want to put together a series of weekly workshops that are si
	te specific.\nUsing scrap yarn and with the help of as many people as poss
	ible\, I would like\nto make a knitted slogan tapestry.\n\nThe knitting co
	mmunity has been changing a lot since the pandemic\, and while\nknitting c
	lub still exist and are active\, they also tend to focus on more\nindividu
	al projects. The goal here is to bridge the community with a common\nproje
	ct\, in the case that tapestry. We would need to discuss what slogan/word\
	nthe space want or need (thinking of Circularity\, but it could be somethi
	ng else\nof course) The workshop would be around 2h long in the evening. T
	he first\nsession would focus more on the design of the piece\, mapping ou
	t sections\,\n\nsorting scrap yarn\, making a pattern together. The next s
	essions would be more\nhands on with people knitting a section of the tape
	stry that can then be sewn to\nthe main part. The participants would be we
	lcomed to bring back their section at\nwork and bring it back next time of
	 course! While I do aim for this tapestry to\nbe done one day\, the commun
	ity process is more important to me than the output!
