DESCRIPTION:Naaimachine\, Bleedroot\, Clitteband & DJ workshop by Queer in 
	Wonderland's\nGuenter Råler\n\nGirls to the Front is an Utrecht based init
	iative which focuses on the Dutch\nbased FLINTA representation within the 
	punk music industry. It started as an\nevent on the 8th of march in dB’s b
	y Bibi Fay Bannink\, an 18 year old feminist\npunk fan with a plan. Which 
	grew out to a compilation vinyl with 14 FLINTA\nfronted punk bands\, calle
	d Girls to the Front. Which was released on the 8th of\nmarch 2025 in EKKO
	\, and was followed by a tour throughout the Netherlands.\n\nGirls to the 
	Front doesn’t only celebrate the various ‘punk’ sounds created by\nFLINTA 
	people that are alive and loud in the country\, but also wants to dive in\
	nthe intersectional struggles and inspirations people experience through t
	he\nmaking of zines or through organizing more interdisciplinary events wi
	th poetry\,\nfilm talks and panels.\n\nGirls to the Front hopes to work to
	wards a community of FLINTA people who can\nmosh together without constant
	ly having to be cautious of the male dominance in\nspaces like this and ta
	ke inspiration from the Riot Grrrl movement with modern\nimplications and 
	struggles. Most importantly we want all the FLINTA people to\nthe front an
	d we want them to collectively scream en mosh together and celebrate\nthei
	r identities through punk as a genre\, but also a lifestyle.
