launch of Letters to a Grieving Land

Join us Friday 8th May at 18:00 for the launch of Letters to a Grieving Land at KIOSK Rotterdam.

An evening of readings by contributing authors Amy Gowen, Kate Price and Marjolein Ossewaarde with an introduction by editor Katerina Sidorova and printer Bertus Gerssen (Stencilwerck).

Letters to a Grieving Land engages with the idea of “traumascapes” - landscapes that carry the imprints of past violence and disruption. Through essays and personal letters, the publication reflects on how these environments have the ability to grieve as well as shape collective memory, foster resilience, and the possibility of renewal.

Printed with soil-based inks, each publication includes a unique sheet of plantable paper embedded with seeds provided by the authors.
