Nothing Works (DE)

Nothing Works, formed in late 2022, has quickly established itself as one of the

most exciting new bands to emerge from Berlin’s underground. Drawing on ’90s

indie and alternative while embracing the urgency of modern post-hardcore, the

band pairs emotionally charged songwriting with uncompromising political lyrics

and an explosive live set.

Their debut EP, Bold Talk for a Burner Account, introduced the band’s blend of

emotionally charged post-hardcore and socially conscious songwriting. Now they

will release their second EP, Some Folks Are Getting Way Too Comfortable, in

August 2026. Across four new tracks, the band tackles gender-based violence,

racial microaggressions, xenophobia in Germany and the climate crisis, asking a

simple but uncomfortable question: what happens when society becomes comfortable

with injustice?

Despite being a relatively young band, Nothing Works has already shared stages

with international acts from Austria, Canada, Germany, Mexico, Peru and the

United States, including CURB, Punitive Damage, Shoreline, Girls Go Ska, Dry

Socket and Tomar Control.

Static Vision (BE)

Hailing from the heart of Kortrijk, Belgium, Static Vision is a relentless

hardcore force. Their sound reflects the intensity and authenticity of hardcore,

blending aggression with melody and raw emotion. Their 2025 EP Through Different

Eyes, released on Genet Records (EU) and 51st State Records (USA), deals with

the struggles of everyday life, conveying a sense of urgency and resilience that

resonates with hardcore fans worldwide.

After a release show for the EP at Ieperfest and a weekend run with Hell Can

Wait in England, Static Vision took time to reflect on how they wanted to evolve

further. They chose to move forward with two guitarists to incorporate more

emotion and melody into their music, drawing inspiration from bands like Love

Letter and Modern Life Is War. After a six-month break, the band is once again

ready to play shows and present their renewed sound to the world.

Undertone

Undertone is a hardcore punk band from Hengelo, the Netherlands, with an

explicitly anti-capitalist and anti-fascist perspective. Rather than providing

an outlet for frustration, the band aims to ignite and collectivise anger

towards capitalist society, turning individual discontent into collective

consciousness and contributing to solidarity and the emancipation of the working

class.
