1. The city
We plug in the ethernet cable into the wi-fi antenna we just set up and w
atch the LEDs light up. Six blue lights, full troughput. We sense the data
pouring trough the fiber veins of the city. A digital mycelium network of
pulsating light, information exchange - right under our sidewalks, houses
, roads. Data flowing trough undersea cables, copper wires, and the ether,
finally terminating in a small box attached to the roof of the squat. Dat
a - immaterial, untouchable, abstract and immune to the cold December wind
that's been bothering us for the last hour.
On another roof down the s
treet an identical wi-fi antenna senses a new presence. The loneliness is
over, time to say hi, perform a handshake and begin a quiet radio conversa
tion. Six blue lights.

A Squatter Network Operations Techni cian breaks more things than they fix. They cut the wrong cables, freestyl e configurations and drop their laptop in a pond. They release magic smoke from devices in an attempt to bring them to life. Use the wrong tools for the job all the time. Eventually though a SNOT arrives at an answer to th e question they themselves posed and sometimes even understands how they g ot there. And occasionally they come up with something useful.

er with\nknowledge they brought in. Nobody owns the broth. In the upcoming
nine months\,\nexpect collective public takeovers around sound\, flavours

of handmade and speculative audio speakers: everyday objects built to exp
erience what sound can do when it moves from and through surfaces, walls,
ceilings but also bodies.
This tryout is the start of a research int o Keileweg as a spatial history, a place layered with questions of industr y, ownership and different types of workers. Aside from narrating these hi stories, we want to transmit them: through vibration and through the way s ound travels differently depending on what it passes through.
We're interested in what happens when listening turns within: when you stop hear ing a history from a distance and start feeling it move through you by uns ung heroes. Be prepared to be curious, to stand still, to press your ear a gainst something unheard.

In July 2014, AIDS activist and feminist an
tropologist Martine de Schutter was on board flight MH17, when the plane w
as shot down over Ukraine by Russia. Twelve years later, her child, filmma
ker Maarten de Schutter, attempt to reconstruct the lost memories of his m
other. To continue Martine's legacy in cross-border activism, we invite a
speaker (TBA) to talk about international solidarity before the film. Film
maker Maarten de Schutter (he/they) will be present during the screening.<

In juli 201 4 zat aidsactivist en feministisch antropoloog Martine de Schutter aan boo rd van vlucht MH17, toen het vliegtuig werd neergeschoten boven Oekraïne d oor Rusland. Twaalf jaar later probeert haar kind, filmmaker Maarten de Sc hutter, de verloren herinneringen aan zijn moeder te reconstrueren. In het thema van Martine's inzet over landsgrenzen heen, nodigen we een spreker uit (TBA) om over internationale solidariteit te praten voorafgaand aan de film. Ook filmmaker Maarten de Schutter (hij/die) zal aanwezig zijn.

The live podcast taping will explore the hi storical and ongoing impact of religious colonization on queer identities, focusing on how colonial-era religious systems shaped laws, cultural norm s, and attitudes toward gender and sexuality in many parts of the world. I t examines the tension between imposed moral frameworks and pre-existing o r evolving understandings of queerness, while also highlighting stories of resistance, resilience, and reinterpretation within religious and queer c ommunities. Through historical context and lived experience, the conversat ion asks how these legacies continue to influence identity, belonging, and social acceptance today.

Once a month on Sunday, between 18:00 and 20:00, participants gather for our general meeti ng. BuurToren always needs active participants to move forward. Our genera l weekkly meeting is a time to discuss proposals, get to know each other, share tasks, and plan the coming weeks. We organize ourselves non-hierarch ically and make decisions based on consensus and by voting when necessary.
Before the general assembly, we hold an introductory meeting fo r those interested to join. The introduction will take place at 17.00. Att endance is required for new participants, so you'll immediately understand what we stand for, our values, and our working methods. After attending t he introduction, you can go directly to the general meeting, which starts at 6:00 PM. Het project barst van de arrangementen rondom Lucy’s stem en originele nummers, waar een energieke groove samensmelt met eerlijkheid en elegantie, met een messcherpe focus.
